About the festival

Where the harp sounds like a whole world

The Lithuanian Harp Festival Baltic Echoes is a new international festival that invites you to discover the harp not only as an instrument, but as a whole world.

The programme brings together meditation with the harp, musical encounters for children, educational sessions, and performances by young harpists and professionals that reveal the many colours and possibilities of the harp.

It is a festival about sound, silence, light and closeness: about moments in which the harp becomes a story, an experience and a living encounter with music.

Meditation

A meditative musical evening combining harp music, improvisation and early music traditions

An Evening of Harp Meditation

What if, for one evening, we allowed the world to slow down? Two harpists, two distinctive musical worlds, and sounds in which ancient melodies, nature-inspired motifs and the freedom of improvisation come together. Katri Tikka and Ieva Baublytė invite you on a meditative musical journey, where the resonance of harp strings, the melodies of the recorder and moments of silence create space to pause, listen and simply be.
